Thank you for the precious gift you gave to me and the world. When I was a little boy, I listened to Ferlin Husky and other country singers. When the British Invasion came in, all my friends became hippies and I got lost in rock music. Ferlin's was a voice I could never quite forget. On the Wings of a Dove, had communicated the importance of my baptism and the Gift of the Holy Ghost, that an eight year old could not quite understand.
The old Country singers, like Ferlin, had depth and understanding of life and God. They were different, than the rockers who perpetuated the society we suffer from now!!! May the next generation hear some voice calling them back.

One of my top favorite country music singers of all time.
Ferlin is my favorite country signer, I just love him. His voice was so special, full of meaning. I'm thankful we have CD's so I can listen to him anytime I want. What a loss it was to loose him.Your family must be so proud of him. I wish I could have seen him person performing on stage.

I have been searching for any information on Ferlin.
Until I went to Nashville a couple of years ago, I knew very little of him, with thw exception of Wings of a Dove.
Until the computer age, here in Australia, we heard very little. Ferlin was so talented and a total entertainer. I find myself wanting to know more and more about him.
Thank goodness I have found this site.. I would love to read a book on him and his life, was one ever written? Thankyou for the site, I will check back regularly. Regards Cheryl
