I Loved Ferlin's music. I( had the chance to meet him at the Flame Club in Minneapolis MN. Years ago, thanks to my brother Jack Curtice who was working with the house band. He took me back stage to meet him. I will never forget him.

The best to your family. You have a lot of good memories.
I was wondering if you have any pictures of the various groups he formed in the early years. My dad was with Ferlin for a while and co wrote "Flowers Speak Louder Than Words" a few years before it appeared on the "True True Lovin" Album. His stage name, which started on radio, was "Texas" Jack (Perkins) tho he was from Ohio. He died in 1990 but among the endless tapes, memorabilia, and pictures left to my half brothers is one in particular of Ferlin with fond words and signed Terry Preston.
My dad had left my mother in Michigan about 1944 when I was less than a year old and started a new family out West. We and his second family are now close. Since I was never with him all those years it would be great to have a picture of them together. Thanks, Mike

Obtained a rare Ferlin Husky-Simon Crum 7" single today and thought i'd check out the site. He was truly one of the greats of country music of which there are none today.
God bless the Husky family !

Any Cd of Mr. Husky that I see, I will quickly buy it. My brother was named after this wonderful man. His song that always touch my heart are, "A Fallen Star", "Mother Watch" and "Make Me Live Again". I hope that many more people will listen to his songs. Also he is so pleasant to look at and has grown older very well.
