I'm 77 years old now. Ferlin has been a favorite entertainer of mine for years and years and I sadly miss him. He put more love, feeling and care into a song than anyone I have ever heard sing. It bothers me no end that I never got to meet him in person and express my feelings to him, but I'll never forget him.

My dad loved to listen to Ferlin sing, and it must have rubbed off onto me because my wife and I now love to listen to Ferlin singing one of our all time favorite country songs "Gone".
The name Ferlin Husky will always be synonymous with country greats.

I remember going to the drive-in movie with a girl and her parents. She and I sat under and blanket and held hands and watched THREE Ferlin Husky movies in a row. Funny the things we remember from our younger days.
