I am the Exec. of Estate of Ruby Allmond. Ruby wrote the song "I Mustn't Pass This Way Again" that Ferlin did a great recording of on one of his best albums. Recently I heard from a young man in Austin, TX, who had just heard this song. He said, "Why, My grandmother used to sing and play that song for us when we were children and visited with her in the summer." We really liked it." Thank you on behalf of Ruby Allmond.

Ferlin was of my fathers generation. Although I never had the honor of seeing Ferlin in person, through my father and the music both he & I love so dearly I feel I knew Ferlin personally. The generation of people born in the 20's & early 30's new a hard time and lived their life with honor. Ferlin sang his songs with honor & meaning. He will be missed with many as we start to loose that great generation.

I was a friend of Ferlin's friends Mike and Evelyn Davis. Mike was a drummer and he and Evelyn lived at his home for a time when he was married to the Canadian lady. We visited his home, but never met him as he was on tour. A wonderful artist and great singer.
