My Grandmother Ethel Howell was Ferlins cousin. She used to tell us about him all the time. I'm proud of my Husky heritage!

what a wonderful man in my life!!being able to meet him @a concert in charlotte,nc @ a time n my life(i was 16 years old@ the time)when i needed someone in my life .my dear daddy was dying @ the time(1969) and ferlin sorta took his place in my mind and his songs brought the happiness that i needed in a troubled time for a 16y.o. girl.Wings of a Dove was played @ daddy's service 4 months after i met ferlin.Wings of a dove will be played @ my services also.Thank you husky family for letting me share him in a young girls dreams during a most tragictime in my life.i woke up to the news of his death and cried as many tears as i am sure you as his beloved family did.i look forward to spending time with him as part of God,s angel's when we get to heaven.Thank you family for letting me love him as you all did! IWhat a handsome man with a beautiful voice!

We were neighbors of Ferlin in Branson and was wonder ing what happen to him. We are very sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great entertainer, a wonderful person and a great neighbor. He loved playing horseshoes and bologna sandwiches. He will be missed.

Always loved Ferlin's shows, great singer, commedian & entertainer, he is missed by all!
