Missed you on the 1st 2010 Country's Family Reunion on RFD TV. Read that you'd been ill so wanted to wish you my best. Get Well; you're missed. I've been a fan since my teens in the 1950's so you're a staple; I routinely listen to Gone, Prize Possession, Fallen Star, etc, etc; got em on 45s, 33s, tapes and now CDs. Congratulation on induction to the Country Hall of Fame. I remember hearing "Flat River, Mo" one night while serving in Saigon, Vietnam. What a thrill it was,as I was raised in Flat River.

In 1969, at the Seattle Center Coliseum, at the half-time break between a basketball game between the Seattle Supersonics and the San Francisco Warriors, Ferlin performed a memororable two or three song stint. I can't tell you who won the game but I remember his performance! Congrats to the Ferlin!!!

I don't suppose you remember me, but my band & I were your backup band at The Peterborough Country Music Festival here in the UK around 1982 or 83 I guess it was.

Hi, Ferlin: I am Winfred's oldest daughter. I have followed your music and kept up on you thru Linda Carr. I have very fond memories of you and dad when I was a very young child. Anyway, Congratulations on getting into the Hall of Fame.

I just read the article about you in the Bakersfield Californian. I actually have a copy of The Dear John Letter that was written by my step father Hillbilly Barton. It is the original given to me by my mother Beulah Funderburk Cochran. I loved to hear about all the old memories that mother had as a young woman. She is suffering
from alzheimers disease now and can't recall much from the past. Anyway I just thought you might like to know that there is a MarVel copy in a loyal fan's possesion. Thanks for you time.
