Are you ever going to release a CD with the original version of "Terrific Together" on it? I had it on a 45 rpm record but that record is scratchy. I see one of your fairly recent CDs has a version of it, but it sounds like it may have been recorded from a TV show. My understanding is that this song was featured in the movie "Country Music Holiday", or something like that. I would love to get a really good copy of the original song, along with "Kingdom of Love", which I believe was on the B side. Is there any way I can buy this, or pay to download an MP3 version of it?

I really like your songs, specially Wings of a Dove. Your sounds and style are very similar to a Pastor that I met last year at my Sister's church (Pentecostal). I wish I could remember his name.

Frelin: Enjoyed your music back in the 50s and got to wondering about you today. Your list of songs includes many of which I was unaware. Best wishes to you and your family.

Hello Ferlin, We saw Jean Shepard in March when she was at Rainbow Resort in Frostproof, and we asked about you (my dad is a big fan of yours) and she said you were under the weather. I'm hoping your feeling better. I will keep and eye out and see if your going to be anywhere close to central Florida. I actually got to shake your hand a few years back when you were in the Haines City Tag office. No one believed me that you were a country singer until I ask you in front of them.

Hi Ferlin,
During a cruise, December 2006 from Galveston, I was sitting outside of your private gathering listening to you, Leona William, Hank Thompson and the entire McCall family singing. You made that trip the most memorable ever by you and your group inviting me inside to visit and hear you even though I was not part of your group. That shows what considerate performers you are and those memories of meeting you in person will never be forgotten. Thank you from Canada and special love to you and Leona. Condolences for loosing your good friend Hank.

Hello, Mr. Husky. My name is David Chilton. I visited Louise Worsham a few months ago in Hopkinsville (where I grew up). I was a friend of your son Danny, Bobby, and Janie Martin. When I was a kid I used to come over to your home in Hendersonville with Danny and Bobby. We went with you one day in your Winnebego and took it for a wash! I moved to California for many years and 20 years ago moved here to Nashville. I have thought about you, Danny, and the Worshams all of my life. I hope you are doing well. I heard you're back in Nashville area.

I have a "For Promotional Use ONLY - Not for Sale" "Sittin' On A Rainbow" album from radio station WSKP. My father had lots of albums which I am sifting through. He apparently played at a radio station in downtown Miami, but I'm not sure if WSKP is in fact that station.

Hi Ferlin, we are such big fans. Playing Ferlin Huskey songs and other great old country songs up and down the bayous of Louisiana was what we enjoyed the most as a cajun country band (www.deltaboyscajunband.com). My father and I and the band had the best times of our lives doing just that. Hope you are doing well.

Ferlin,
I just celebrated my 40th birthday. In recounting the story of the day I was born in my blog, I was reminded of you. You see, although I go by Rusty, my full name is Michael Rusty Ferlin Ammerman. The Rusty came from my dad's friend Rusty York, and the Ferlin came from...well, I guess you know. The Michael was a Catholic thing.
Anyway, from one Ferlin to another...keep at it.
