Hi Ferlin. I'm Simon Crump's grandaughter, Liz. Mother (Jessie) and I had lunch today and talked about when you lived across the creek from them just outside Irondale. Just wanted you to know we still think about you and you are always in our prayers.

My husband,Ferlin Cochran was an avid fan of yours. Unfortunately, he passed away on January 20,2010. He was only 48. He took great pride in telling everyone he was named after you. His favorite song was "On the Wings of a Dove", so the next time you sing it, would you dedicate it to him. I know he'll hear it. It would mean so much to me and his family. We miss him so much!

Just wanted to let you know, we just watched the "classic" Ferlin Husky movie, Hillbillys in a Haunted House. Also had appearances by Molly Bee, Merle Haggard & Sonny James. It was pretty entertaining!

if i wasn't at town hall party i was at cliffe stone, hometown jaboree in 1954 to 1956. loved all the singers like tennessee ernie and molly bee, but my fvorite was terry preston. do you remember that fellow. skipped cal poly classes and homework to come hear you. darn near flunked school because of all of you. i sang "gone" a thousand times. shook your hand at earnest tube record shop in branson missouri once. one of my biggest thrills. hope to see you in branson again

Me and my buddy Steve and you and some guy who just came back from Thailand. You were telling us how disapointed you were that the changed the name of the Husky Tower to Calgary Tower. Congrats and if you ever make it to Japan stop by my bar and see me.
